PRHS New Exhibit – “Our Archival Treasures”

The Pound Ridge Museum will open its 2013 season

with a new exhibit

“OUR ARCHIVAL TREASURES”

• The exhibit will showcase items, some never before publicly shown, from our archives accessioned over the years.

• Some items are unique to Pound Ridge and reflect our historical cottage industries.

• Treasures include revolutionary documents, period photos and schoolbooks, handmade baskets, quilts and toys, curious mementos, tools, clothing and shoes.

• Our archival photo collection from Images of America, Pound Ridge can be viewed on video.

• We are excited to share this look at Pound Ridge’s history with you and hope you will share your Pound Ridge treasures with us where they will be kept safe in perpetuity.

 

Exhibit opens Sunday, April 28th at 1 p.m. and remains open every weekend through December 1st from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
