Lakeside Pottery’s summer camp projects are fun and creative and are taught by our ceramic art instructors who will maximize the kids creativity and discovery. The participants will have great sense of achievement and will feel very proud of what they have accomplished (see some camp projects). By the end of the week, camp participants will have a good idea of what is to work with clay using real potter’s tools, techniques and the potter’s wheel and make good friends. No prior ceramics art experience is required.

Minimum Age: 8 years old (7 years old kids will be considered)
Toolset required: $20
Limited to 14 students per camp session

Our children summer local camp programs were evaluated, reviewed and rated to be among the best of day camp places offered in Fairfield County and are now offered by Darien and Stamford education departments, City of Stamford Pathfinders Adventure Camp and Stamford Museum & Nature Center.

Lakeside Pottery is a ceramic art and craft educational resource for the community focusing on clay art. We seek to inspire creativity, foster self-discovery, and nurture an appreciation to learn about art through our pottery programs, special events and access to our studio, clay center and gallery.

We also take on custom made commission ceramic art and ceramic repair and restoration projects that requires unique attention to details and perfection.

We share all we know including glazes, “how to”, etc. See information and tips

Lakeside Pottery is owned and managed by the husband and wife team of Patty Storms and Morty Bachar.
