Join the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy this Saturday, June 15th from 10-12noon for a spring gardening workshop: Land Stewardship in Action, Making the Most of Your Garden Space. PRLC’s new land steward/educator and avid gardener, Krista Munger, will share lessons learned in working with space limitations in your edible garden. Learn how to use trellises and terracing to maximize growing space and companion planting to increase productivity of your plants. Workshop is at the PRLC’s Armstrong Education Center, 1361 Old Post Rd (Rt.121) just north of the causeway and will be held rain or shine at the land conservancy’s community education garden made up of a Mandala circular space within a more traditional fenced area. Composting, mulching and permaculture concepts will also be explored.
