Curtain Call’s – Acting on-camera is different than on the stage: the camera picks up every detail. Explore auditions, commercials, scenes for TV and film and industry tricks of the trade! Tony Republicano has been teaching at Curtain Call since its inception and is proud to be on the Connecticut Office of the Arts Teaching Roster, a resource of high-quality Connecticut artists juried for excellence in their art forms and their capacity to work in schools and community settings. He brings a variety of theatre programs to Higher Order Thinking schools throughout the state and performs social-issue theatre (anti-bullying, diversity, etc.) with Interactive Educational Theatre. He’s a member of SAG-AFTRA (the union of film and television artists) whose credits include The Amazing Spider Man 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Person of Interest, Blue Bloods, Law and Order: SVU, The Good Wife and The Following. Tony’s also appeared on local stages.

Curtain Call is Stamford’s longest-running, and only nonprofit producing theatre company. With year-round performances in The Kweskin Theatre and The Dressing Room Theatre – conveniently located at Sterling Farms in Stamford – we also produce an annual free outdoor Shakespeare production. With at least 12 full-scale productions each year, plus many other special events (Interactive Murder Mysteries, Comedy Nights, Concerts, etc.) we entertain more than 25,000 patrons annually. Additionally, we offer a full curriculum of performing arts programming for ages five through adult.
