Beware foragers, friends and foes: we are embarking on a mushroom hunt. Join Krista and learn how to find and Identify Mushrooms. Whether you enjoy eating mushrooms or not, they are a fascinating group of endless form and variety.  Bring your camera!  Fall is the perfect time to find them as summer’s plethora begins to die back, hastening in the decomposers.  This hike is suitable for all ages.

Community Volunteer Work Sesssion: Building Stone Walls the Traditional Way

September 28, 2013 10am-noon.  Community Volunteer Work Sesssion: Building Stone Walls the Traditional Way, at the Armstrong Education Center, 1361 Old Post Road, Pound Ridge.  Come learn with local, veteran stone wall builders the dry technique (no mortar) of stone wall construction as we build an outdoor seating area at the Armstrong Education Center.
