The Discovery Center at Ridgefield is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt for all ages on Sunday, March 22nd at 2:00 P.M. at the Gazebo of Ballard Park in Ridgefield.  The outdoors is a wonderful place for families to have great experiences in sharing, learning and adventure.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and learn about Irish folklore while searching for hidden clues in Ballard Park, Ridgefield.  All children participating in the hunt will receive a prize. Join the Discovery Center and learn a “wee bit” about this holiday.  Participants will begin by searching throughout a part of Ballard Park for clues about St. Patrick, Ireland and Irish folklore. Learn what ‘bodhrans & bones’ are, and why the Irish flag has three colors. Find the ‘pots of gold’ left by our tiny (or big) leprechauns. Go gcuire Dia an t-ádh ort! (Best of Luck to you!)

This program is co-sponsored by Ridgefield Park and Recreation.

All ages are welcome.  Members are free, and non-members are $7 per person.

Please call 203.438.1063 or visit the DC website www.ridgefielddiscovery.org to make reservations.
