  • Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival (CCBF) takes over downtown Chappaqua

Hello Friends! I am so excited to be a part of the most amazing event to hit Westchester since, well, last year’s festival. This Saturday, the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival (CCBF) takes over downtown Chappaqua and yours truly, Miss Rhea, will be on-hand to provide some super fun singing and grooving opportunities :)

If you aren’t familiar with the CCBF, you are in for a treat! Over 80 authors and illustrators will come together to talk with your children, autograph books, and inspire readers and writers. This year’s schedule of readers include: Jason Eaton (10:30 am), Leslie Kimmelman (11:15 am), Alan Katz (noon), Gail Carson Levine (12:45 pm), Gloria Pinkney (1:30 pm) and Artie Bennett (2:15 pm). Dozens of other authors will be there throughout the day to talk with and delight you and your children. Visit their website at http://www.ccbfestival.org/ for more information.

I will be performing in the reading nook, located at the Camp Kiwi tent, doing 15-20 minute sets between 10 AM and 1PM. Come sing and dance, or if you’ve “aged out” of Miss Rhea events, at least drop by to say hi!

    Keep rockin!
